The word trap refers specifically to Official That’s What I Do I Read Books And I Know Things Shirt characters that are physically male that dress as women simply because they are not as they outwardly appear, and not in any attempt at any other hidden meaning. It also does not refer to women that were previously men but have female genitals. If I am missing the point please tell me. I support trans people and I’m trying my best to look at this from their perspective. I’d love to see some of these alleged discussions that you claim created a problem. I’ve only the term used on anime characters, and never saw even a vague hint of a complaint.
Official That’s What I Do I Read Books And I Know Things Shirt, Tank top, V-neck, Sweatshirt And Hoodie
I would like to start with the fact that I appreciate the Official That’s What I Do I Read Books And I Know Things Shirt mods of this subreddit desire to cultivate a tolerant community because to think it leads to better jokes. I also think most of the trap memes aren’t very funny (slightly fewer are funny than average) but I quite enjoy the good ones. This is kinda bullshit. The t-word isn’t used for trans people. It’s for cis dudes who crossdress. Trans people don’t get to decide it’s offensive the same as straights don’t get to decide if queer is. As a crossdresser myself I find it insulting that apparently I need to be trans to dress like this and can’t decide for myself what to identify with.
