I watched this season first so I just spoiled the Nice Leslie Jordan Well Shit What Are Ya’ll Doin Shirt winners for all the other seasons right from the bat. Subah was a great entertainment factor. Sucks at team challenges but somehow always survives pressure tests with these amazing spices because he is, in the end, a great home cook. Also a really drama-free guy despite everyone stepping on him. Definitely felt some biases when the judges make him do pressure test despite winning team challenges. Thought they did that past seasons but it was the first time and only when Subah wins :/

I agreed with every other post, this was one of Nice Leslie Jordan Well Shit What Are Ya’ll Doin Shirt the worst editings after season 9. They tried way too hard to make a caricature out of everyone. Harvard student, army girl, grill boy, fish guy. My favorite mystery box challenges from all seasons actually liked the little twists they put in the middle of the challenges. Was rooting for Nick, one of my favorite contestants or Katurah or the Asian guy but I agreed he went way too far in terms of concept for his finale. Would’ve maybe pulled it off during desert.

I really dislike Dorian winning this season. So much crying, always bringing her mom for Nice Leslie Jordan Well Shit What Are Ya’ll Doin Shirt emotional points. That simple dessert with her mom’s hands was so underwhelming and cheesy but no one can talk shit about it. Also, there was a Southern cook winner last season, so I really don’t see what she brings. But Masterchef also loves the rags to riches story. Scallops and duck breast seems also underwhelming since they been making that all season.
