The main post pretty much boils down to ‘I know and love trans women but I don’t want men in my bathrooms’. It’s not about trans women being the same or different from other women; it’s more about trans women = men, men = predators therefore trans women = threat to people’s safety. As a transgender man, I know I’m not the same as other men. Many of her points were flawed and were qualified with “I know and love trans people” and quickly followed with a “but”. Her arguments seem to hinge on the idea that trans women are men and she does know it.
