The scene was set up as if his decision was a big deal, but he instantly made his choice and we don’t get to see any consequences because of that choice. And they really had to do my boy Hades dirty like that in the end? I feel like it’s implied he gets to be the main baddie in season 2, but again, it’s unclear. Now, this may just be me, but the whole “Hades is super evil” thing is overdone in popular media.
