We don’t let him off the lead in Pro Whippet Daisy Flower Classic T-Shirt the park unless there is nobody there due to him always running off to other dogs, but the minute we let him off he eats literally everything he can. He knows full well to leave items like litter, he doesn’t even bother with it. It’s mainly grass, daisies, dandelions, basically any weed or grass. I have tried everything to stop him but it’s virtually impossible. Over time it has slowly become less and less and it seems he is growing out of it.

I work at a cage-free dog daycare, and we often have that Pro Whippet Daisy Flower Classic T-Shirt problem. One thing I do is play with the dog on one myself, and if they get too vocal just stop and look at them. Sometimes I’ll say “Hey, too much too much” quietly, or make soft growly noises. Pause until she quiets, then starts playing again. Dogs are pretty smart, they do imitate to some degree and you can usually train them to respond to the phrase “Too much” by pausing and getting quieter. If your dog is not hurting or provoking anybody, don’t worry about it. Not every dog plays quietly or gently. It’s a good learning experience for them. Let your dog play how she does and let the other people at the dog park figure it out themselves.
