In a gun-grabbing country like the UK, hearing that he has guns will make him seem even more dangerous to the cops than it does here. Police brutality is obviously not a good thing. The guy was responding well and was calm. There was no need for the cop to tackle him down to the ground. I’m not saying it hasn’t happened. Or that it hasn’t happened recently. I’m saying that there’s been a sea change in the public’s attitude towards POC-police interactions in the past two decades.
