I’m in Maryland and polling sites have been reduced because we are wisely moving to mostly mail in. It’s not a statewide way of disenfranchisement. Too many people are now saying “I’m only gonna vote in person” even with the option to do mail-in. That is going to spell disaster if it’s democrats falling for it. Mail is delayed, not halted. And even then, you can drop off mail-in ballots directly and avoid the post office. I don’t think it’s self-defeating.
