Possibly some banishing spell as I do believe the demons aren’t native to the astral plane. Now that I think about it, can’t a wizard cast banish on the party to meet them back to their native plane. IE material plane. I don’t believe we were high enough for the wizard(s) to have banished. And I agree, a paladin could have used smite….but that’s Ross for you.
